New Manager

When Aid Clements announced that he would be stepping away from his position before the end of the season. Alot of thinking would be on who the next manager would be. The true candidate would have to not only be the right person for the job in how the club is on the pitch but also the morals and vision off the pitch.

When the season had finished it was time for the search to come to an end. I had spoken with a few during the final few games and was awaiting news and confirmation of the new gaffer.

It was announced that Darren Wilkie would be the new manager. After working under Aid last season, knowing the players and also buying into the morals and mentality of the team. It’s a great appointment to take the team forward. 

Darren is a top guy who is always one of the first to come and say hello and ask if you are ok and one of the last to leave a matchday. Leafield are in good hands with him at the helm.
