El Cap-I-Tan herself Sam, In my time of seeing Leafield Athletic Ladies or being around the team. To me Sam is Mrs Leafield. She wears the badge on her sleeve and does so much for the team you won’t even read about or hear her talk about. One being the amount of travelling she does to be involved with this team. She is taking a fair bit on this season as always but she won’t be washing the kits.
Sam is a person that truly personifies a Captain , someone that gives everything for the armband, the team and everyone around us. Some would say she keeps Sarah busy on the sidelines as well. But this is only because she is willing to put her body on the line for the Yellow and Blue.
From our journeys on the coach last season, having her and Darren running the team will be a fantastic watch and a great journey. Just hopefully Sam has the Sat Nav.
