Goals – Millwall – Gaylor, Wynne… Villa – Merrick, George

The last but one game in this years WSL 2 season, away to Millwall. We missed the first 20 minutes due to terrible traffic. It seemed two very matched teams in first half of what seen and a mistake at the back lead to Millwall taking the lead just before half time through Gaylor. The second half Villa played alot better getting back into the game with a great strike by Merrick (as always)

Wynne put Millwall 2-1 up and it looked as if all hope was gone for this game until Richards and George combined. George adding another vital goal since her goals against Everton, proving once again that she is a class act and a great player whether going forward or defending. There maybe a few questions that need answers but right now going to look at positives and enjoy our last game.

Villa’s last game of the season is a Villa Park against Watford and should be a great occasion, lets hope that it will be.
