Chloe Shirley – 22 games 9 goals

No surprise that once again Chloe is one of my favourite people and players of season again. Her work rate is something that is unmatched even though she has been struggling with an injury at the end of season it hasn’t slowed her down. If you didn’t know you wouldn’t guess. Her passing, work ethic, goal scoring and assisting has been so key to Leafield’s season.

The stats and seeing her play talks for itself really, but as a person she is such a fun and bubbly persona. From rawring at her team mate to be loud on the bus from just being overall a great person. Once again getting picture with her at the awards evening became a yearly occasion I couldn’t break.

Chloe will be hot property come next season once again, no doubt alot of teams will want to have Chloe donning there shirt before the season starts. A fantastic player and person inside the game.

Daniella MacDougall – 17 games

Daniella joined up with Leafield this season after a spell with Solihull Moors and taking some time away from injury. Part of the season would of been so tough for Daniella building back up to being match fit and over her injury, but feature a lot more towards the end of the season.

Always a top person to chat to and so focused on just trying to improve her game and the way she can affect the game and her team. Played on wing against Solihull Moors and was a big part in us coming away with 3 points in that game.

No doubt next season will be a big season for Daniella as she comes into fit and ready without having to get fit and ready. A good and compact defender that adds to the team trying to keep a clean sheet.

Holly Briggs – 23 games

You can always depend on Holly in the middle of the pitch, does alot of the dirty work that doesn’t always get the credit. Will always look to stop the opposition attacking and create something that helps defence turn into attack.

We lost Holly for a few games ethier due to a knock or holiday and you could see the impact she has when she is on the pitch as you just needed a player like her in that position, always gives everything while she playing as well.

Holly always is welcoming with Demi and Mark whenever see them around or about at the club. Another top person that makes Leafield the place it truly was last season.

Grace Murphy – 12 Games 1 goal

Grace joined us on a dual contract with Birmingham City Development and was told this 16 year old player was something to watch for when she she came in. It wasn’t long before could see her confidence and skill on the ball. Even though playing against people with experience she didn’t bat an eyelid used her trickery and pace to get forward for Leafield.

Always gave a smile and a hello and was always great to chat to her Dad at the games usually before it started. But her goal against Leek Town was something that was my favourite moment as will forever be her first senior goal for any team going forward.

Grace didn’t get to play much of the end of the season which was truly a shame but things happen that are more important but I am sure when she returns to the pitch she will back with a point to prove once again for such a good young talent.
