The world as we know it isn’t the same anymore and nethier is a match day at the football. Since COVID-19 cut last season short it’s been a phased return to something we once wouldn’t think twice about. People will think is it safe to attend the Football and how are teams and ground’s working towards making sure that we are protected as fans and spectators.

I had these same questions that was it worth going to the Football if my safety was at risk. The reality is that as much as we don’t want to be at risk nethier do the teams and players also so the venues and teams I have attended since the restart have measures and strict policy’s that make sure that the ground’s are safe and in line with regulations.

I have attended a few different venues since the restart and each one has been safe and run well to make sure that you are safe.

– Boldmere

– Long Eaton

– Stoke City

– West Brom

– Loughborough Foxes

Are all venues that I have attended so far this season and all are working to make sure you are safe and can still enjoy your football. Some club houses are open but also have sanitizer and one way systems as well as instructions and track and trace being recorded.

The match day experience hasn’t changed too much really apart from some places require you to wear a mask during the game but this is for your safety and well being. The match is still played as it would of been before the pandemic and players still interact with you in the same way just you keep your distance and be smart while you are inside the ground before, during and after the game.

If you are weary of attending a game in the COVID times and are unsure of attending I would say give it a chance because the teams and grounds are working hard to make sure you can still come and see you team and cheer them on while continuing to be safe.
